Franklin, Indiana (December 7, 2009) – Dresslar Manufacturing and Overton Industries announces a
change for Dresslar Manufacturing. As of August 1, 2009, Dresslar
Manufacturing became a division of Overton Industries International.
Jon Pinney as well as the support staff which has operated for many
years will continue to service the customers’ needs.
For over 39 years, Dresslar
Manufacturing has designed, built, assembled, and installed numerous types of
equipment including test and inspection, welding, assembly automation and
machining equipment as well as part-holding fixtures. Dresslar has other
capabilities such as design and fabrication of complete automated turn-key
systems for manufacturing facilities and providing preventative maintenance for
such equipment and other manufacturer’s equipment. Other value-added
services include process development and improvement (Kaizen) to assist their
customers in gaining maximum production.
Overton is a well-known leader in
the industry and builds special machines in their Franklin, Indiana, facility
located near I-65 and Highway 44. Overton Industries has been in business
since 1968 and is headquartered in Mooresville, Indiana, where stamping dies,
powder metal tooling and molds are built. Dresslar is joining with
Overton’s leadership team which includes Board Chairman and current National
Tooling and Machining National Chairman, Ron Overton, Steve Overton (CEO), Rick
Overton (President), and Dale Bates (Vice President).
